Existing Facilities > Pipelines

The district’s 200-mile-plus pipeline network is the backbone of Washington County’s water infrastructure. Pipelines, located from Kolob to Gunlock, transport water to the district’s municipal partners and retail customers to sustain Washington County’s population and economy.

Washington County has established a uniquely integrated system that allows water to transfer seamlessly among the district’s municipal partners as part of the Regional Water Supply Agreement, initiated by the district in 2006. The regional partnerships also facilitate transfer of municipal water among cities when needed, improving water accessibility and reliability.
